Coghill Gifts & Frames is owned and operated by me, Bobby Coghill & my wife Mary Jane. After her first class in floral design about 14 years ago, Mary Jane was hooked. It was obvious she had quite a talent for creating beautiful, creative designs. After a couple of years, she formed her own company called “Floral Creations” and honed her skills providing fresh & silk flower arrangements to folks in the Chester area. Still, it was a parttime endeavor.

In 2007, we made the decision to open a store where Mary Jane could pursue her passion fulltime. But what would I do? I don’t know how to arrange flowers (although I am learning to help a little). Well it just so happens that a couple of years ago I got involved with picture framing. I decided to throw out all the standard pricing models for picture framing and make up my own. I discovered that picture framing can be done at a reasonable price. So why not open a frame shop and florist in the same shop? That’s what we did. Then, we thought, why not bring in some interesting and unusual gift items? So we did that, too.
